I will forever love this brand. They have so many palettes. Some people may think that their palettes look the same but they don’t. I love every palette because the colors are so unique. I also love how they collab with multiple artists to make beautiful palettes.
I almost have every palette from Bh Cosmetics. Their palettes are really colorful. If you know me, then you know that I love bright colors. This brand probably has the cutest packaging ever.
I love the naked eyeshadow palettes. The colors are natural looking and blend so well together. They are literally everyday colors.
This was a fun look to do because I don’t usually create green looks but this turned out amazing. I used some really good products plus my new Morphe palette. So here is what you need to do…
Step 1: Prepare your eyebrow
I like to start with my eyebrow because it is easier and if you mess up, you don’t have to fix anything else. Trust me, eyebrows are the easiest when started first.
Step 2: Prepare your base
The base is your eye primer or concealer. I use concealer because I can get a brighter color with it than a primer. After the base, add your powder or bronzer to set your eye. I sometimes use bronzer because it works so good.
Step 3: Blend
With a blending brush and the color you picked, start blending on the crease of your eye. Blend with light strokes so it doesn’t get too dark. Do not go up to the eyebrow with the eyeshadow. When you blend, you can feel where your eyeball is and that is how far you will go.
Step 4: Create your cut crease
The cut crease is really easy to create. You want to get a thin brush and add some concealer on it. Carefully line the concealer higher of your eyelid. A cut crease can be any size you like so feel free to go higher or lower with your crease. High cut crease are perfect for people who have small eyes and eyelids. After you draw your cut crease with the concealer, fill in with conceler. A cut crease can look any type of way so you can be creative with it. You can do a full or a half cut crease.
Step 5: Add the eyeshadow to the cut crease
Add your color to the cut crease to bring out your eye. I like to add bright or sparkly colors to my cut creases to bring out my look.
Step 6: Finish your look
The last thing to do is to finish your look. Add your eyeliner, lashes, foundation, and concealer. That is how you accomplish a cut crease look. These are the steps I used to create the look above. I hope you guys enjoy it!
The first thing that comes to your mind might be primer, right. No! Primer is good for eyeshadow but I only use concealer because it really makes the color brighter. I use concealer then set it with a powder. It does not matter what powder you use. Just set your eye. You do not want a wet base.
Next, you want to really dig into that eyeshadow. (lol) When I use the bright pink colors, I dig so I have a lot of powder on my brush and it always comes out super bright. (dig, dig, dig)
Lastly, do not swipe the color on your eye. If you are looking to get a bright color then you have to pat the color on your eye. Trust me, there is a huge difference between the two.
When I say basics, I am talking about the brown, tan, black, neutral shades. I have one full palette with those colors. The palette is the Morphe 3502 Palette. I love the palette because they have colors you wear everyday and for any occasion.
I have many palettes with bright colors because I love the rainbow. (lol) I am in love with all bright colors because they pop! They bring out your eyes and make you stand out. You can also do a lot like mix different colors together, you can get different Ombre looks, and much more. I like that the colors let you express your artistic side even if you are not a artist. To be honest, if you do makeup then you are a artist.
I haven’t had the chance to buy cute stands and other stuff so that I can set my makeup on. I keep all my makeup in makeup bags, a makeup drawer from Ulta or in cute containers that I get from Tuesday Mornings. The Brands that you see are…
-Morphe, Bh Cosmetics, Shopmissa, Maybelline, Jaclyn Hill, Ulta, NYX Cosmetics, Ben Nye
I just wanted to say really quick that this palette is really cool. The wording on the box says”Dare To Create, Artistry Palette”. I love that because you can express your love for makeup through this palette. I can’t wait to try so many looks with this palette. The palette itself is so big, I love it. This is a true artist palette. The price for this palette was $34.00 but I got it on sale for$30.60. It wasn’t that big of a difference but it is a huge palette with some pigmented colors.
Everybody knows that when you are going to work, you never want to do your makeup (Well for most people). It may be because it takes too long but I can give you guys some tips to make your makeup (lol pun) look good in a small amount of time. You don’t want to overdo it when applying makeup for work because you will be working for a long period of time. Some people sweat, some people hate applying the makeup. I wear a small amount of makeup to work because I get hot too fast and I am answering phones all day.
Working can be very stressful. Especially when you are also trying to look good. Depending on your job, you never want to wear too much makeup. Now I am not judging! Do what you love but I think because of how I am, I like to go for the more natural looks. If you work in a makeup, fashion, or any type of tv company then get off this post. (lol)
I always go for the more natural face because I move around a lot at work and I do not have time to keep checking my face. The more brownish, golden, reddish oranges are the best in my eyes. The colors go with everything. You do not wanna over do it with the foundation, concealer, and contouring.
Fill in your brows if you please and go for the more natural brows. I feel like if you go full face every time to work then you are constantly checking your makeup and it can become annoying. Like I always say, love whatever you do. You do not have to listen to me. I am just stating my opinions. 🙂
I really liked this look but my eyes kept watering. I got so mad and right after I took my last picture my eye started watering so I stopped there. The first picture tells you to always trust the process. The second pic is the finished look and the last pic is when y eyes started watering. I do love how the look came together though!
I finally got a chance to test out the new palette guys! This palette is absolutely flawless. The picture of the palette is kind of dark because I took it a while ago but the colors are really pigmented.
I finally got to test a color out of this palette! My other eye is so swollen. (lol) I really like this palette because the colors are everyday colors. The eyeshadow is also really soft on my skin. I also dyed my hair back black because I think it brings my colors out more.
