How To Get The Brightest Colors To Pop On Your Eyeshadow

The first thing that comes to your mind might be primer, right. No! Primer is good for eyeshadow but I only use concealer because it really makes the color brighter. I use concealer then set it with a powder. It does not matter what powder you use. Just set your eye. You do not want a wet base.

Next, you want to really dig into that eyeshadow. (lol) When I use the bright pink colors, I dig so I have a lot of powder on my brush and it always comes out super bright. (dig, dig, dig)

Lastly, do not swipe the color on your eye. If you are looking to get a bright color then you have to pat the color on your eye. Trust me, there is a huge difference between the two.

Why I Choose Bright Colors Over The Basics

When I say basics, I am talking about the brown, tan, black, neutral shades. I have one full palette with those colors. The palette is the Morphe 3502 Palette. I love the palette because they have colors you wear everyday and for any occasion.

I have many palettes with bright colors because I love the rainbow. (lol) I am in love with all bright colors because they pop! They bring out your eyes and make you stand out. You can also do a lot like mix different colors together, you can get different Ombre looks, and much more. I like that the colors let you express your artistic side even if you are not a artist. To be honest, if you do makeup then you are a artist.

The Reason Why You Should Go Get This Palette Right Now!!

I am the type of person who likes to try new things. When it comes to makeup,  I try to do different looks with different colors. The Moprphe 39A Palette is beautiful. It has many neutral colors so that you have everyday looks. I love the brightest color in this palette which is red. I think how they created this palette is really different in a good way. If you like to wear natural looking eyeshadows with a hint of color then this is your palette.

The palette was a good price and is definitely worth buying!

Morphe 39A Dare To Create Palette *Review*

I just wanted to say really quick that this palette is really cool. The wording on the box says”Dare To Create, Artistry Palette”. I love that because you can express your love for makeup through this palette. I can’t wait to try so many looks with this palette. The palette itself is so big, I love it. This is a true artist palette. The price for this palette was $34.00 but I got it on sale for$30.60. It wasn’t that big of a difference but it is a huge palette with some pigmented colors.

*How I Create My Eyeshadow Looks*

  • I really like doing these kinds of looks. I am gonna do many more because I like bright colors together. Once again, I only used concealer for my primer. I tried eye primer a few times but once I ran out, I got lazy and looked up other ways to make your eyeshadow brighter. Now I only use concealer.
  • When I am thinking of ways to do my eyeshadow, I literally just throw a color on my eye and then think, what other colors can I match it with? That is how I create my makeup. It doesn’t always work out.
  • I had some looks that were so bad that I just gave up after 40minutes of trying to do my eyeshadow. I get mad a lot if I mess up because I hate restarting after a long time. One big mess up that still gets me is overdoing my eyeliner. I would try to put a thin liner on my eyelid and then I see a part I need to fill and it just gets too thick. I would just give up. Now I am getting better with patience. 🙂

Colored Lipstick

Lipstick is amazing but I feel like to a point, it can be too much. Don’t get me wrong, you can wear whatever you want. I just feel like if you are going to a gas station and you are wearing blue lipstick that it is too much. I am not judging, this is just my opinion. I don’t wear any kind of really bright lipsticks other than pink and red. I am really basic. Once again, I am not judging! Do what you want girl!

Four Step Eye Look

  1. Pick two eyeshadow colors 🙂
  2. Blend your first color on half your eye and the second color on the other half 🙂
  3. Blend in the middle of your lid 🙂
  4. Add your liner 🙂
  5. I added one of the colors I used on my lid for under my eye 🙂
  6. Add a little glow in the corner of your eye 🙂
  7. Add lashes 🙂
  8. Finish the rest of your face and enjoy! 🙂
