Contouring is such a big deal in makeup because it brings out your features. Plus you can make new ones. (lol) When you see people contouring their jaws and noses, it brings that specific feature out more. I love contouring. Many people do the full contour which is under the eyes, nose, cheek bones, neck and so on. That is too much for me, just because I am in college and I don’t need all of that unless its a weekend. I don’t do the neck contour though. I haven’t tried it yet because I feel like its too much and I get hot really fast. Just remember that after you contour, you have to bake. You do not to walk around with a melting face. 🙂
Nowadays everyone is doing makeup. Kids are looking much older and doing so much. “Not in a bad way”. When I was in high school I only did my eyebrows until I got in the 11th grade. During my 9-10 grade years I only wore lipgloss. High school pictures are looking different also. I wish I knew how to do makeup that good in high school so my picture day pictures were on point but they weren’t. I think for teenagers, you don’t want to seem over your age. You don’t want someone to look at you and say ” dang, I thought she was 21″ when you are only 16 years old. The typical teen needs…
- Lip gloss or lip stick
- A little foundation
- A little concealer ( Probably Not)
This is just my opinion. My sisters did not even wear a lot of makeup in high school but it is definitely a trend now.
When you are contouring under your eye, you want to use a concealer that is slightly lighter than your foundation. It gives you skin a natural glow look. If you are tired, it makes you look more awake. There are a lot of benefits to contouring.
A lot of people do not like body contouring but I do. I think it’s how and what you are contouring. I just use concealer to cover up dark spots. Some people take it to the extreme and make themselves some abs. It’s what you like.
