This was a fun look to do because I don’t usually create green looks but this turned out amazing. I used some really good products plus my new Morphe palette. So here is what you need to do…
Step 1: Prepare your eyebrow
I like to start with my eyebrow because it is easier and if you mess up, you don’t have to fix anything else. Trust me, eyebrows are the easiest when started first.
Step 2: Prepare your base
The base is your eye primer or concealer. I use concealer because I can get a brighter color with it than a primer. After the base, add your powder or bronzer to set your eye. I sometimes use bronzer because it works so good.
Step 3: Blend
With a blending brush and the color you picked, start blending on the crease of your eye. Blend with light strokes so it doesn’t get too dark. Do not go up to the eyebrow with the eyeshadow. When you blend, you can feel where your eyeball is and that is how far you will go.
Step 4: Create your cut crease
The cut crease is really easy to create. You want to get a thin brush and add some concealer on it. Carefully line the concealer higher of your eyelid. A cut crease can be any size you like so feel free to go higher or lower with your crease. High cut crease are perfect for people who have small eyes and eyelids. After you draw your cut crease with the concealer, fill in with conceler. A cut crease can look any type of way so you can be creative with it. You can do a full or a half cut crease.
Step 5: Add the eyeshadow to the cut crease
Add your color to the cut crease to bring out your eye. I like to add bright or sparkly colors to my cut creases to bring out my look.
Step 6: Finish your look
The last thing to do is to finish your look. Add your eyeliner, lashes, foundation, and concealer. That is how you accomplish a cut crease look. These are the steps I used to create the look above. I hope you guys enjoy it!
I love wearing eyeliner. I only wear liquid eyeliner because it looks better. When you are doing your eyeliner, you have two ways to attempt to wear it. You can wear a thin liner that is really simple or you can go for the bold thick liner that is a statement. I love wearing thick liners but I would only wear them when I am going out. I like thin liners because it makes your eyes pop.
Now in a small tone, you do not understand the enjoyment I had once I saw my Instagram one morning. When I post my pictures, I tag every brand that I use in my pictures. I tagged Bh Cosmetics on every picture because I used their eyebrow palette every day. I was looking on my Instagram and Bh Cosmetics liked my pictures. I started screaming because I use their products a lot. Their Instagram has 1.6 million followers so it was a big deal to me. Now they always like pictures once I post my pictures. I cannot wait until I work with and they can tag me in photos. That is a dream of mine!
Sarah- Instagram-@Iluvsarahii-(I love her! She is an inspiration to me because I love how she does makeup. I watch all her videos. Go check her out!)
James- @Jamescharles-( I love Jamessss Sisters! He is amazing. He talks really fast but it is so funny. I watch his makeup tutorials all the time. I think I am obsessed with him. Gosh, he is so pretty!)
@Viva_glam_kay– ( First of all, she is gorgeous. She is a mom and you probably couldn’t even tell. I think I screenshot almost all her pictures. I literally love everything about this women.)
@laviedunprince-( When I first saw his pictures on Instagram, I was like Woah! who is this? His makeup is beautiful and bright. I want to try to recreate some of his looks very soon. His face looks like art.)
@JaclynHill-( I left one of my favorites for last. I love her, her makeup and I can’t wait to get her new vault set. Her eyeshadow palettes are so smooth. The eyeshadows are so soft. I cannot wait to try her brushes! I’m so jealous because I don’t have them yet.)
Finding inspiration is a huge part of taking pictures in general. When I practice my makeup, I look around for inspiration. For example; when I created the red, blue, and green eye look, I was looking at a parrot. A bird gave me that inspiration.
If you guys didn’t know, I only complete one of my Eyes when I do my makeup. A lot of people do that. If I’m not going anywhere, I only do one eye and then wipe it off. ( LOL) It’s so much easier because I don’t usually upload full faces yet. “Coming Soon” This is what it looks like…..
I created this look today. I did a half cut crease. For the cut crease, I used concealer and then I patted the color that I was gonna use on the eyelid. I used a light pink eyeshadow from Morphe. It depends on how bright you want your color. If you are using a really bright color, you will have to really dig into that eyeshadow to get it super bright. Trust me it will get bright. I use a thin angle brush to line my concealer on my eyelid. Lastly, I complete my eye. Full List of products I used on my Instagram. @makeupmaheim
